So if Windows gets 12 points for those 6 hours then so too should Linux get 12 points. This is not what is happening and is the basis of the complaint, I believe. Conan Correct. Even if would employ 1000 penguins, I could not compete with any windows machine, because the project denies me without any reason proper credit.

I would like Willy to unlock the statistics on BOINCStats. Why bother? As long as you treat Linux users with such utter negligence and refuse to give them proper credits, any such stats are just a weird distortion of the project.

The problem is, that here is no iThena CNode for Windows and no iThena PERF for Linux. So both OS's can compute for both apps. It's just a problem of negligence towards Linux crunchers. It's just a simple change from 0.0000333 to 2 for each WU crunched, that the devs here refuse for absolutely no reason since quite some month. Regardless of the name of the app, 1h crunching in NC-mode should get absolutely the same amount of credit, full stop.

Theoretically, according to tests, the new version should never "freeze" - a timeout for specific commands has been added. Tomorrow we will test on BOINC. What do I have to do, to finally get some recognised work on my penguin? Up to now you denied penguins any credits without ever given any proper reason, and I still never received any of these magic PERF stuff, that, while doing nothing more on their machines, get billions more credits for this.

Why are you still denying the Linux crunchers their credit? I can't think of a valid explanation, at least none was given so far.

It's been a long time since I had to withdraw this application... But I really need to keep up to date with the results from this application. But I should implement a new application here. What's so tough with simply granting 2 credits instead of 0.00000333 (or however much zeros are in this non-credits)? That looks like the easiest task possible, just change on number, et voila...

Both are NCI as I understand it so there should be no difference in reward... That's right, both do nearly exactly the same on the computers (the concrete algorithm is irrelevant, it's only about use of ressources), but us penguins get nothing, the holes in the wall a lot. It can't be that tough to simply grant each and every WU 2 points, imho it should be done retroactive, but that would just be a nice gesture, not a necessity. I've done 2905 WUs by now, that's the equivalent to 5810 credits.

Ithena last 0.5h, so anything between 1 and 5 is fine by me.
