Got a Surface Pro X and wondering to know if in the near future will be a version for windows 10 ARM64? should be nice to work natively with the tablet. Roses don't bloom on the sailor's grave |

Windows 10 tasks are limited and frequently don't have any work available, but I believe that the Windows 10 app will work on the Surface Pro. You'll just have to be patient and hope you get lucky and grab some Windows tasks when they are available. (Linux tasks are almost always available.) |

Thanks both of you for the answer. No, for the moment I haven't seen any project ready for W10ARM64 or even worst none compilation of BOINC for this platform, that should be the first step. but why not starting any project with such capability? when supposed that is going to be a boost of ARM desktop computers in the near future (or is what computer gurus are saying). from another point of view, also I posted another message because I'm not getting any job in this tablet when I'm getting more or less continuously in my desktop with W10X64 and I guess that should be because in the definition of the computer is stated processor:
so maybe is why I'm not getting job, this W10ARM64 runs x86 applications as x86 emulation so I had to install BOINC x86 but I have no problem to get WU for another projects like Moo! Wrapper but not for this one. Roses don't bloom on the sailor's grave |
