Been getting this message since last night, over 9 hours now. There are currently 750,000 work units available for Cnode and PERF but I can't get any to download, Message "Scheduler request completed: got zero new tasks Project has no tasks available" Thanks Conan |

Been getting this message since last night, over 9 hours now. Still getting this, no work for over a day now. Plenty of tasks (around 730,000) available but wont download, says no tasks available. Conan |

the impression is that the more tasks, the more difficult it is to get them. the server worked perfectly with 150k RTS and 5k active (even better with 2k active ;o) - for the application perf |

Probably has to do with the [i]million plus[/i ] tasks waiting for assimilation. Server status as of a few minutes ago: Tasks ready to send 715524 Tasks in progress 996 Workunits waiting for validation 129 Workunits waiting for assimilation 1254937 Workunits waiting for file deletion 10 Tasks waiting for file deletion 13 Transitioner backlog (hours) 0.00

Still not getting much new tasks in past 24 hours . Got 26 tasks on 2 of my 5 PC's. Server still overloaded with lots of tasks waiting for assimilation. Tasks ready to send 635954

In past 24 hours I have received only 1 task across 5 PC's. I see the project assimilation backlog is shrinking. A brief word from the project administrator on the project status would be greatly appreciated! Appears things are getting better with the assimilation backlog as noted below.. 3 of 5 PC's in last 24 hours have been getting tasks on a semi-regular basis but the other two are getting the "no new tasks available message". Appears things are getting better with the assimilation backlog as noted below.. I have a few of my pc's set to no new tasks but all the rest of them are getting tasks on an irregular but hourly or so basis. I still get the upload retry on a few units as well but not anything like it used to be.

the client regularly freezes when loading / unloading a PERF task. while both input files are the same for this version of the application or at least the current series of tasks you can significantly reduce the load on the server if you mark these files with the "sticky" tag in the WU template <input_template>

What is up with all the connection issue to the project website? BOINC has been getting SSL Security Certificate issues when trying to send or receive work. Example: 18-Jul-2020 13:48:28 [iThena] Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Web browser refused to connect. Example: This site can’t be reached

A day after the project admin posted in the News forum that they had a "storage issue" the project server status page frequently times out for me when I try to load it. Some time in the last two days the project issued two GHOST TASKS to my account with five PC'S. Finally got the server status page to load... I think the Admin is struggling with the popularity of the Project...usually the way to fix it is bigger and more SSD drives but that means more and more money and then more and more Server to handle them as you change the software to seperate tasks to different drives so one drive isn't busy with EVERY task. It's a process most projects go thru and growing pains are expected. Personally I think the Admin has done a great job keeping us informed and working around and thru the problems and getting the Project back ASAP each time it goes down. I hope in time the Admin can access the network of Boinc Admins to get some ideas about how to handle the growing pains as efficiently as possible unlike when the GoofyX Admin tried to do it on their own and had serious downtime as a result. |

I agree the project admin/owner has done a spectacular job keeping things going. Hopefully the project popularity does not get too overwhelming and overburden the hardware, software and the admin's time. Wishing the best for this young project.

This is happening again, over 1,000,000 tasks but the project tells me there is No Tasks Available. same over here. and i am running Linux x64, so this is affecting both platforms. i bet this is due to the limping transitioner. |
