Is there any way we could get an Android application. The only non-cpu intensive application we have is WUProp. I have a lot of devices that I don't want to risk battery bloat on but would certainly run a non-CPU intensive application on if there were an option.

That would just put even more load on the servers, that can't cope with the existing computers. If you can't handle the load already, why put even more on the machine?

Exactly!
One of the suspected problems with running out of storage space so quickly is a MASSIVE DATABASE OF FAKE USERS/SPAMMING ACCOUNTS registering by the hundreds every day as seen below from the server status page a few minutes ago.

As I previously mentioned the absent project administrator/s don't care about the project.

There is goofyxGrid@Home NCI, too.
And when you have a detector device/sensor, there's Radioactive@home as well.

You can run Linux apps on Android via UserLand. Now defunct WEP-M+2 showed it.
