I completed a 1.05 version of the app, it took 7.5 hours, consuming 108 seconds of CPU time. The 2 1.02 work units I downloaded 23 hours ago are still running, is there any reason to not abort them at this point?

I've had 2 OONI Probe Wu's running for 2.5 Days now showing 73% Progress. Should I keep runing them or abort them ... ???

there is no "OONI Credits" as a subproject on the home page - there will be no badge, because there is no data for it

waiting for changes in memory requirements. 2G machines report 1972Mb to the system so excluded from this project

My 1.02 tasks completed at 3d during the server down time and I picked up v1.05.

My OONI Probe WU was at about 89% after 12 or so hours with 1 1/2 hours to go.
When I later checked it was now at 14+hours, 14% and 101 hours to go.
How does it work?

The OONI Probe work unit down loaded automatically to run next to my CNODE work unit, which is great as I don't have to hit update all the time to get it.
Why does PERF not work this way and download and run next to my CNODE work unit without me constantly hitting "Update" to try and get a PERF work unit?

This work unit (version 1.02), reached 24 hours with 37 minutes to go and I think 80 or 90%.
When I checked later it had gotten to 34 hours with 10 hours to go and 76% done.
Now it is at 37 hours with 694 hours to go and just 5% done.

Certainly is jumping around a lot.

Yes, an ARM version is planned to be added.
The current version of the application is v1.05.
If anyone is still completing tasks with the older version of the application then please discontinue those tasks.

On my Linux host I get the following (as do most others)


In 4 minutes I get 2 points for a PERF work unit

In 30 minutes I get 2 points for a CNODE work unit

In 71 hours 23 minutes I got 2 points for a OONI v1.02 work unit

In 6 hours 19 minutes I got 2 points for a OONI v1.05 work unit


If the scaling was the same then I should get


In 4 minutes 2 points for PERF work unit

In 30 minutes 15 points for a CNODE work unit

In 6 hours 19 minutes (6.33 approx) 189.90 (190.0) points for a OONI v1.05 work unit


The times are for my computer and will vary for others.
If the scaling was in effect then I would of gotten 2,145 points for the 71 hour work unit I returned.

Probably can't be done but if it can that would be great (we all know the discrepancy that Linux users have compared to Windows users concerning credit for same PERF work units but longer Linux run times) (my point of view, I admit).

Anyway a good thing that has come about with the new OONI Probe work units is that I don't have to keep hitting "update" all the time try and get a PERF work unit (if any are available) to download to my Linux machine.

More often than not all 3 types (PERF, CNODE, OONI Probe) will download together most of the time, just have to hit the update button every now and then as PERF has long breaks before downloading.

Uhhh... I will change the next version of the app (v1.06) for i686-pc-linux-gnu platform to 512MB RAM requirement (probably?).
