How long have they been connected? It's not uncommon for clients to not get work for hours (or even days) sometimes due to overloaded resources on the server. And when there's an actual server crash/problem like right now with the full hard drive, the server isn't properly responding to requests.

Thanks for both this and the post above - run test applications is now checked. I wasn't aware this actually needed to be done.
I guess I'll be yet one more guy that knocks on the door of the server asking for more disk space. I've been connected on and off since September.
Can anyone shed a bit of light on the difference between the two available types of workunits? Do they both use your bandwidth specifically or does one need virtualization/virtualbox?

So, is this project dead? I haven't heard from the admin yet since this issue started.

Sure admin has been quiet... Last post in forums was 9th November, in Twitter 19th November...

I have, i'm sure like many others, WUs that are past their reporting due date. I'd sure hate to lose that 12 minutes of crunching time :)

More like 12 hours. Some WUs take 48 minutes, and I've thrown away all that was over date, dozens of WUs. Resetting the project did not help, I did get new WUs, but I still can't upload.

Still no go here either.
Finally get work.
Any difference between the two different workunits? one seems to take about 2 minutes per and the other right around 30 or 40. From what I've read one uses bandwidth but I'm not sure how much and haven't really seen spikes in it during the course of the WU. The upload size looks around 28 MB or so.

Workunits finally overdue.
Some communication would be nice. Expect to lose a lot of contributors if none is forthcoming. I'll be one of them.

This projects admin must of taken lots of clues from the now M.I.A. Goofyxgrid project.

This sudden lack of response appears to coincide with the project announcement 20 days ago: New information: CCF. Hence my previous reference to the"monkey project".

Yeah, saw that but does anyone read it? Is it just another unresposive way to contact?

The problem was related to a very long period of indispossibility of the main system administrator.

Unfortunately, I was not able to solve the problem remotely.

Unfortunately, at that point there was no redundancy...

Currently, the problem has been removed...

Sorry...

Very long absence - professional trip (no access to the Internet).

Glad to hear all is well with everyone. When project admins go silent for long periods, I always get very worried something bad has happened to them. Thanks for the update!
