I understand everything. We will probably do it this way: - current credits will remain normal until January 1, 2020, - under these credits a badge will be broadcast (properly scaled), - from January 1, 2020 we change credits per WU. Then credits must be adequate. This is my initial suggestion. Other suggestions? |

Well, i dont see how this cred questions is such a problem! you could award every wu returned with 5cred (fixed credit), problem solved! But it is your project and you decide. ((even cred payment an badges), no Boinc, Goverment, Eu committee can do you wrong) :-P morgan |

you could award every wu returned with 5cred (fixed credit), problem solved! Exactly my thoughts also. Since it seems to be an NCI-project anyway and the length of the workunits are almost always the same it would be the perfect solution. Life is Science, and Science rules. That would be almost FIFTY THOUSAND times more credit per work unit than we are currently receiving. And it would still be very low compared to most projects.. |

- from January 1, 2020 we change credits per WU. Then credits must be adequate. January 1 has passed ... what will be the new plans? more interested in the mechanism of transition to a new system. will it be a new application (subproject)? Or will the application remain, only with a new "price"? will there be other applications? |

Unfortunately, I have some problems with time (not enough free time). I am planning a new application (very large version change). Has anyone used the Go language? Someone can compile it: https://github.com/berfinsari/tracebeat (for Linux)? |

En anglais c'est pas aussi joli ;) And by the way, the deepl translation is much *better* than the google translation ;) (as always) |

In fact, Deep Translator looks quite interesting ;) |

We are quite off-topic but yes, I have found Deepl to be better than google translate, in many occasions. It's an AI using the data corpus of www.linguee.fr. The only thing is that it has much languages available compared to Google. To come back in-topic, I hope you don't get "lost in translation" in the Go :) |

I remember about Go ;) I even wrote to the developer of this package... ;) |

Didn't you mention that you would implement a real credit system ? For the moment there is ONE cruncher that has more than one credit :-D (and he is forced to hide his crunch force, he has to align so many machines to get to that result !) |

I would probably be satisfied with 0.5 credits per WU. As I am running this project on a new computer I built yesterday to run Linux apps I am unsure of its average credit per hour for non-nci projects. Thus I currently don't have a good feel of what I should be earning for this or any project........ However, WUProp gives out 56 credits per day for its WUs which I think is a reasonable amount for an nci project. My machine is crunching at a rate of 30 WUs per day (based on WU runtime) which comes out to about 2 credits per WU for iThena. |

You should try GoofyxGrid. They give 176 credits per hour. (4 X 44 credits). When their project is working! For iThena, I'll be happy with 10 credits per work unit. |

Wuprop gives 14 per 6h Radioactive 75 per 12h Goofyx is really very excessive in it's credits granting with 44 per 1h, but it's often enough down, like just now. Ithena last 0.5h, so anything between 1 and 5 is fine by me. Grüße vom Sänger |

I was just looking through some of my old data and they showed that the Quake Catcher Network, when they were still giving out credits, gave 50 credits per day. |
