Never mind....it is now fixed. I must have just caught it in the small window of in-opportunity.

Only thing I noticed was a name change, from iThena to iThena.Measurements

Conan

it is showing up as iThena.Measurments (without the second e) in the boinc projects list

Raising the memory up to 4GB solved the problem...I am now getting OONI tasks

I noticed many places listing credits do so with eight digits after the decimal place. Is it possible to reduce the number of least significant digits to make the data more readable? I suspect chopping everything after the decimal place would not be missed. For the average per task data, it may be reasonable to leave two digits after the decimal place.

Whatever the case...freaking VBox set up.... I thought I had given the VM 4gigs of memory. I will try to fix it and see how it goes. This is not the first problem in the set up that I have had to fix today. (Not to mention the certs problems, issues with MineCraft launcher not working, and crappy politicians making it challenging getting to BY...)

Is this where I say "I hate Mondays!"?

I have added a new Linux rig in the hopes of working on OONI tasks. I get CNODE but no OONI, is there something I need to do? My prefs are set to accept any and all work.

These are two different apps: CNode on Linux and PERF on Windows. Credit per task has also been discussed in other threads.
However, one should note that these are NCI (non cpu-intensive) tasks and time is not a function of processor calculations used. Many NCI apps use very little processing power and cannot be compared to normal BOINC apps.

My bad, they were other CNode WUs. I had thought you stopped that app when you started the new app.

Except for that first WU, the other WUs I have gotten seem to be working fine....crossing my fingers and knocking on wood.

I got one of the new work units....
It took forever to download only to process for less than a minute. I hope that this was just a test and in the future the units will be longer.

I was just looking through some of my old data and they showed that the Quake Catcher Network, when they were still giving out credits, gave 50 credits per day.

I would probably be satisfied with 0.5 credits per WU.

As I am running this project on a new computer I built yesterday to run Linux apps I am unsure of its average credit per hour for non-nci projects. Thus I currently don't have a good feel of what I should be earning for this or any project........
However, WUProp gives out 56 credits per day for its WUs which I think is a reasonable amount for an nci project. My machine is crunching at a rate of 30 WUs per day (based on WU runtime) which comes out to about 2 credits per WU for iThena.
