Yeah. Problems happen.
Sometimes there are problems with the power energy.

Sometimes the system doesn't start up completely properly.

I try to react as quickly as possible.

At this point in time, I don't plan very long interruptions.

I am perfectly aware of the problems.

I understand that users are waiting and impatient (very much).

However, some technical / logistical problems have arisen.

It takes time here.

Thank you for your time. Thanks for participating in the project and participating in the forum (community).

The problems exist but I slowly solve them.

I'm sorry about the problems.
I remember everything all the time ;)

Unfortunately, I have some problems with time (not enough free time).
I am planning a new application (very large version change).

Has anyone used the Go language?
Someone can compile it: https://github.com/berfinsari/tracebeat (for Linux)?

Yes, I think that the idea of implementing the possibility of adding "geolocation precision" parameters may not be bad ;)

The server is currently UP.
Today and tomorrow I will configure the network in a new location.
There may be interruptions in communication with the BOINC server.

Michael - thanks for the message ;)

Many thanks for hints regarding cloud resources, the problem of computer mobility.

Data must be versioned.
There are a lot other problems here.

In the case of VPS hosting / dedicated servers, the location of the data center is sometimes known. This type of example is OVH - sometimes the more accurate location of a data center can be known.

Probably here you can think about some additional solutions.

At the moment the system has been started.
All daemons are running.

Probable next, planned and longer break in the system operation - 11/01/2020 (from the morning CET - several hours planned).

Of course, according to the information, all fields will be optional.

Any other idea?

One of the important information in network analysis is the geolocation of network points data.

There is no generally available, one coherent database covering very precise data.

The problem is well known by engineers and researchers.

https://orbi.uliege.be/bitstream/2268/107073/1/p53-v41n2h2-uhligA.pdf

There are of course some (not perfect) solutions but often the error is big.

I will probably implement a mechanism enabling the platform user to provide location information for a given client.

This is a longer planning period.

Also remember that providing such information is only optional.
This will definitely not be a requirement.

If you have questions or concerns, I encourage everyone to discuss.

I plan to introduce a lot of changes at the beginning of January.

These changes may initially cause system instability.

I need to transport the BOINC server to another location.
It will be associated with a minimum of two longer breaks.

Probable break dates:
1) Today (29/12/2019) in the evening CET [probably several hours];
2) Saturday (04/11/2020) in the afternoon CET [probably several hours];

There are no special long breaks planned between these breaks [there may be smaller, unplanned technical problems].

I will inform you about work and possible changes.

I have over 0.01 credit, but no badge. I don't understand:

Total credit 0.01921667
Recent average credit 0.00059460
iThena CNode credit 0.00013333 total, 0.00001290 average (40 tasks)

True - this is bug:

Statistics are not consistent.
Total, total credits should be equal to iThena CNode total credits.

The differences are probably due to the fact that I added <credit_by_app /> after some time (this has not been configured since the beginning of the project).

There is currently only one sub-project.
Soon I clone Total, total credits on iThena CNode total credits and it should be ok ;)

A few minutes I did "total credit" cloning for iThena CNode.
Does it look a little better? ;)

PS. Badges will be re-counted within the next hour.
We will see the effects ;)

I added the badges into Free-DC stats, but there are only a total of 17 users with a badge right now.

After cloning total, total credit on total ithena cnode this users will be a little more.
However, there are not many active users (only linux and micro credits).
