Its not a 1st world problem its about equality between Linux and Windows with respect to the points awarded.

Should be simple to fix.

I agree but the question is WHY are Linux crunchers still here, if the Admin NEEDS the Linux data and all Linux people leave then the Admin WILL make a change to get you back!!! As long Linux people accept the 2nd class status the status quo will remain as there is no reason to change!! The Admin posted over 60 days ago that there needs to be a change yet nothing has!!

I am in the process of setting all my Linux machines to no new tasks until things change!! WILL YOU?

Unfortunately, I have not solved the problem with data distribution.
The exact location of the error is unknown to me.
Unfortunately, I haven't done a full diagnostic.

However, I have now sent a message on the BOINC mailing list (boinc_dev).

What i think is ironic is that YOU have finished 45 tasks on one of your Linux pc's and have exactly 0.00012589 total CREDITS FOR THAT PC!!!
While one of your Windows pc's has done 68 tasks and gotten 121.05464923 TOTAL CREDITS FOR THAT PC!!!

You are spending @2000 seconds of time on each workunit on the Linux pc and @188 seconds on each workunit on the Windows pc!!
Each Windows workunit gets 2 credits while each Linux pc gets 0.00000333 credits!!!
NO ONE does this for the credits but good grief YOU are paying the electric bill for that crap!!!

So why not fix the Linux credits while you are waiting for a response?!!! You are obviously using a fixed credit system here and in the example I just used ARM processors are doing workunits in @2000 seconds each and gettting 0.00000333 credits for them while Windows machines are taking @188 seconds for each workunit and getting 2 credits for each one completed.

The lack of change in credits for CNode is due to another problem.
The problem is historical badge (different scale).

But right now I've decided to block badge updates for "cnode beta".
These badges updates have been disabled.

Tomorrow I'll check all and set up static credits for cnode in the task generator.

Tomorrow, I'll announce the change of the cnode credits in the task generator in the additional news.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

My thought would be you can't change the past, so fix the present so the future is better. An example is climate change, as a World we polluted the heck out of things not knowing better, but NOW we do know better so let's change things going forward and make things better, or at least slow the bad things. Everything starts someplace with a single step.

No problem ;)
Unfortunately, sometimes I do not have enough time to make all the changes quickly...
However, a lot of different implementations and changes are "in progress".
Some changes require time...
